I love this place!! The music, the food, the service, everything! I got the chopped cheesesteak wrap for brunch and it was delicious Will definitely come back next time I’m in Richmond.
This place has hands down the best brunch in Richmond. It was extremely busy. I was lucky to get maneuvered bar seating for 5 people around 1400 Sunday afternoon. The shrimp, catfish, and grits were delicious, very filling, and the Belgian Waffle flight had two strawberry cream and one banana pudding, supposed to have a peach bourbon one, but maybe they ran out. I didn't ask. My friends had the shrimp crabcake with eggs and other sides, but i was so enthralled by my food I didn't have a chance to ask about theirs. Judging by the empty plates they loved theirs as well. The atmosphere is very cozy and we were lucky to get in in the middle of a Sunday Brunch without reservations. If you have to wait it will still be totally worth it. This is real brunch soul food and it is done . The service was a little slow; getting anyone's attention to let them know we were their to eat was a little confusing, but the bartender was accommodating enough to let us dine so it all ended up working out and aren't all the best places a bit of work to get into
My waiter Nelly provided great service all while handling a few groups that walked in. He did not miss a beat on taking my order and providing suggestions after learning I was pescatarian. I ordered the catfish, shrimp & grits & a crab & shrimp cake. Everything came out hot & fresh and was very delicious. I also had the Daily Espresso, which was definitely a winner. Keep up the great job!
We found this restaurant on Google, after the first restaurant we chose had an hour wait. So glad the other restaurant had a wait, because the food and service at Daily Menu was awesome! Everyone in our group was very pleased with their food. Daily menu will be our new brunch spot.
The food was good, the people were friendly and the vibe was good. I love Shrimp and Grits so when I saw they had Catfish, Shrimp and gritsI had to try it and I'm glad I did
It was my daughter birthday yesterday so we had a group of 6 and our server/bartender was BRI! She is the absolute best! Sooo polite, helpful, down to earth and yoooooo the drinks she made us was Amazing!!! Now as far as the food... soooo good you wanna slap yourself lol!!!
Absolutely scrummy! I came with my granddaughter for brunch and we were very pleased. ALL of the food was impeccable from the waffle to the crab cake down to the potatoes. The music was pleasant, decorations were on point, and the service was grand. Overall we loved everything about our experience here and recommend this establishment to everyone looking for scrummy food.
This place was SUCH a vibe from start to finish! The service? Impeccable. The food? Out of this world. And the music and overall atmosphere? EVERYTHING we needed and more! We rolled in deep for Father’s Day...big group and four kids in tow and our server handled it like a pro. She was so sweet and patient, kept the drinks flowing, and never once seemed flustered. I wish I could remember her name because she deserves recognition!! Now let’s talk about the food... Everyone LOVED everything that was ordered! Not one complaint!! I had the vegan chicken and waffles, and calling it “good” would be an insult—it was absolutely delicious! Like, chef’s-kiss-worthy. And speaking of the chef, he actually came out and we had to let him know he really did his big one! He was super cool as well! We also ordered a pitcher of mimosas that came with SHOTS. Yes, shots! Talk about top tier brunch vibes! Since we had the kiddos with us, we sat in the main dining area, but best believe we’ll be back—because now I have to try the shrimp and grits my sister was raving about. Before we even left, we were already plotting our return for a kid-free double date night so we can really let our hair down and soak up the full experience!
